Retreat Contract

POLICIES:

The retreat cost includes the retreat fee, accommodations, food and refreshments. We ask you to bring some items from the grocery list that will be provided the week before.

Payment Policy: A $500 non-refundable deposit is required for each retreat booked. This deposit is taken upon booking the retreat. Spaces are not confirmed without deposit payment. The remaining balance being fourteen days prior to the retreat or a payment plan, as agreed upon. Invoices or Payment Links will be sent to you unless other approved arrangements have been made.

Drug & Alcohol Policy: Please know there is absolutely no use of drugs or alcohol to be used on or around the retreat premises. This includes your car. If you smoke cigarettes or vape nicotine, we ask it is done in the designated area away from all other guests and only done during break periods.

Refund Policy: The $500 deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, even in the event of non-attendance or cancellation by the participant. Refunds will be issued as follows:

• 60+ Days Before the Event: Full refund, minus the $500 deposit and a $100 administrative fee.

• 46-60 Days Before the Event: 50% refund, minus the $500 deposit and a $100 administrative fee.

• 0-45 Days Before the Event: No refunds will be issued.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. By submitting payment, participants acknowledge and agree to these terms.

DISCLAIMER: Each person's satisfaction and experience with the retreat may vary, please keep in mind this is a self healing and self health retreat and Heaven's Connection LLC/Megan Brown is not diagnosing or healing you but instead providing tools to work on yourself. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

I, the undersigned (listed as the "Participant"), execute this Waiver and Release (the "Waiver and Release") in connection with my participation in the above mentioned Spiritual Retreat (the "Retreat") described below. The Retreat is offered by Heaven's Connection LLC.

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage or personal injury, including, but not limited to, suffering and/or death, whether foreseen or unforeseen, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of my participation in the Retreat, and all related activities incident thereto. "Related activities" means any and all matters and activities related directly or indirectly to the Retreat, including, but not limited to, travel to the Retreat destination, lodging at the destination, recreational activities, excursions, side trips, and any activity which takes place between my leaving home to the Retreat and my return. (The defined term "Retreat" shall include all "related activities".) I recognize that there are risks of injury, damage, or harm inherent in my participation in the Retreat, and that it is not possible to specifically list each and every individual risk. I hereby expressly assume any and all risks in attending and participating in the Retreat. In exchange for the opportunity to participate in and attend the Retreat, I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to Heaven's Connection LLC, Megan Brown, and any person or entity associated to this Retreat, and their officers and current or former employees or agents (hereinafter referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, while participating in the Retreat.

Photographic Release. Participant does hereby grant and convey all right, title and interest in any and all photographic images, video or audio recordings made by Refined Divine and its participants and instructors during the Retreat, including but not limited to royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived. Participant authorizes Refined Divine and its participants to use such images, words, and likenesses for marketing, on websites, in brochures or other writings and any for any other legitimate purpose.

Device Usage Policy: To foster a mindful and immersive retreat experience, I acknowledge that the use of phones or other electronic devices during retreat hours is strongly discouraged. Presence and active participation are encouraged to create a deeper connection with the environment and the community.

I voluntarily choose to participate, assuming all risks due to my participation. I warrant to the Released Parties Heaven's Connection LLC and all volunteered parties that I have no physical, emotional, or psychological condition which would keep me from participating in and enjoying the benefits of the Retreat or which would cause me injuries or harm and hold no liability to Heaven's Connection LLC or their volunteering staff for any of my physically or mental liabilities that I may cause or not cause to myself. I acknowledge this is a guided self-healing retreat and I will not be diagnosed or treated for anything. I agree that the Released Parties are not responsible for providing any security while on the Retreat, and that I have conducted satisfactory due diligence into the country where the Retreat is held, and any lodging or hotel facilities there. I understand that Heaven's Connection LLC and volunteers are not responsible for any lost or stolen goods of any kind. We strongly recommend leaving anything of value at home and using your car to lock any money or goods away. This document is binding and will and can be used in the court of law.

I AM OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE, HAVE READ THIS PAYMENT POLICY, REFUND POLICY AND WAIVER AND RELEASE AND BY DIGITALLY SIGNING IT AGREE TO ITS TERMS. IT IS MY INTENTION TO WAIVE AND RELEASE THE RELEASED PARTIES HEAVEN'S CONNECTION LLC OR ANY OF ITS VOLUNTEERS FROM THE CLAIMS OF ANY KIND OF INJURY PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY- HEAVEN'S CONNECTION IS HEREIN RELEASED AND CONFORM TO ALL PAYMENT POLICIES. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS AGREEMENT IS CONSIDERED LEGALLY BINDING.
